Avoiding Sugary Drinks

A new study shows that consuming sugary drinks like sodas, fruit juice, sweetened iced tea, and sports drinks can increase your overall risk of cancer by 18% and your risk of breast cancer by 22%. Not only will these drinks increase the risk of obesity and diabetes, but it now appears that they may increase the risk of cancer. Better alternatives are plain water, unsweetened tea or coffee, and diet sodas.
