Fenugreek is a supplement taken by mouth for diabetes, menstrual cramps, high cholesterol, and other conditions. In diabetes, it appears to show absorption of sugars in the stomach and stimulate insulin. Fenugreek should not be taken by pregnant women or anyone on a medication used to prevent blood clots. For more information or to find out if Fenugreek might be helpful for you, ask one of our pharmacists.
